Immigration Project
You may have seen the posters displayed in Buildings the C and I, which were created by Marcia Arthur’s Basic Studies students. The students completed research on busting myths many Americans have about immigrants. First, the students were given a social studies assignment. Then after a discussion about stereotypes and misinformation that Americans have about immigrants, they decided to create posters to portray the facts about immigrants and immigration procedures. Students did research online and created individual posters for their project.
