Jones Community Solutions (Seattle): They can sign people up for budget mobile phones with 350 free minutes and 350 FREE texts per month and provide customer service (additional minutes and recertification).  Their office is at 5623 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118. For phones, call 206-258-1441, Mon-Fri from 11am-2pm. For replacement phones, call 1-888-777-4007.

Total Call Mobile (Seattle & Tacoma): They are signing people up for FREE Lifeline phones and they  are looking for a storefront in between. They are currently coming to Seattle at Millionaire’s Club  on Wednesdays from 11am-2pm. He gives out FREE phones with 500 FREE minutes on the spot to  DSHS recipients, starting April 1st. Renton Technical College Bookstore- Rent a laptop for $35/quarter

The student will need :

·         Photo ID

·         Copy of current registration

·         Valid Credit Card (not debit)

Laptops rented are due back on the last day of the quarter, regardless of when it was rented.  If they needed it for the nest quarter, they would have to rent it again for that quarter.

New Computer deals at places like Fry’s or Walmart: 

From Ann Bingaman, Help Desk:  Fry’s currently has an ASUS with an Intel Celeron Processor 4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive and Windows 8.1 for $228.00.  While ASUS isn’t my favorite laptop manufacturer, it can get people through in a pinch and could do the job.
